Our Story

Asteria Press was founded in 2022 by two bookish pals with a dream. The vision: an indie publishing house focused on feel-good fantasy, fun and community that would champion independent authors, publishers and bookshops. We named our new press Asteria, after the Greek goddess of shooting stars. This symbol encapsulated their sky-high dreams, and the magic of new beginnings.

Aimée Hill

Aimee has years of experience in the publishing industry. At Asteria Press, she commissions and edits all books that come through our door.

Creative Director

Wendy Mach

Wendy is a freelance book designer with a background in book marketing. She manages the company's social media, book design, and other creative tasks.
