What are we looking for?

HEadline

  • In a nutshell, we are looking for a cosy fantasy story filled with unique twists.

  • The ideal submission would be a standalone book with series potential but we will consider both standalones and series.

Must haves:

  • Your story must fall within the cosy fantasy genre.

  • The story must have some sense of fun or light-hearted element to it. That doesn't mean we don't love a good bit of suspense though!

  • Your story must have a satisfying and warm ending.

Desirables:

  • We love to hear untold stories from strong voices.

  • Retellings of myths, folklore, legends and fairy-tale from unique perspectives are very welcome.

  • Genre-blending is highly encouraged - we love a romance/fantasy cross, or a murder-mystery/fantasy cross, for example.

Author:

  • Of course, when we take on your manuscript, we are committing to you as the author too! We love to work with authors who are passionate about indie books and will champion the indie book scene.

  • Submissions from global majority ethnicity, LGBTQ+ and disabled backgrounds will be especially welcome, as we are always keen to highlight under-represented voices.
